My Dad
My Dad had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma 10 years ago. We all sang praises when he was cured! Although cancer is never good, one positive thing came out of it, an even closer relationship with my Dad. I have always been close to my Dad, but since then I never leave without a hug and I love you! Even when Dad was going through chemotherapy, I don't remember seeing him sick.
All of this changed on Friday morning! I called my parents and chatted with Dad for a few minutes. As he was handing the phone to Mom, I heard him say "Don't tell her!" Mom informed me that Dad woke up at 4:00 am with a numb arm (of course he didn't tell mom until around 8:00 am). When I called they were getting ready to go to the emergency room. Dad is still in the hospital having numerous test run. The doctors have determined that he had a stroke, which could have happened 6 months ago. (Thank you God, that his arm is getting better!) Further blood test show that he has a blood clot or blood clots somewhere. This has been the scariest thing I have gone through with my parents because this is the first time I see that Dad is not invincible! Dad is suppose to have more test run tomorrow and then hopefully he can come home.
I pray that he will be ok. I hate to think about my parents (or myself) aging, but it's happening.

It's Coming!
A pair of Mourning Doves have made a nest in the holly tree by our window. Ivy (which I planned to cut) has grown up the holly tree providing extra protection for our nesting Doves. I have enjoyed watching them groom each other or daddy bringing mommy sticks to fix their nest. We are all waiting for what we know will eventually happen, the sweet sound of baby birds!

My Little Ballerina
The video goes over the basic poses.
We don't have a bar to use but a shopping cart works great.
Of course, having the tongue out always helps with concentration! As I look through my pictures of Emily I am noticing one similar thing, she usually has on dress up clothes or pj's. Oh well, she does usually start out the day in regular clothes!

No Excuses!
Depend on the Lord in whatever you do. Then your plans will succeed.

Tot School
Aiden is 26 months old
This is our first time posting our Tot School activities. Aiden had a rough start to the week due to a bandaged hand and having a cold.
He did manage to work on sorting shapes with his left hand.
Looking back we did more this week than I thought we had. Of course most of the week was spent snuggling on the sofa and reading since little man wasn't feeling good.
Don't forget to visit Carissa at 1+1+1=1 for more Tot School posts.
