Felt Shamrock Matching Game

I love felt, so many things you can do with it, and at about $.25 a sheet, it is something we always have on hand.  I made Aiden a felt shamrock matching game to work on colors and patterns.  I cut hearts out of felt, and put together shamrocks with different color combinations.  I took pictures of the different combinations and printed them on cardstock.

Aiden picks a card, names the colors, and matches the color pattern.

What a lovely activity! I was looking for something different to bring the Theme of St Patrick into our classroom, here in the South east of Wexford. I will copy tis idea for sure. So cute and so simple! Thank you for sharing.

This is so cute! We gave this one a try ourselves and it was a hit! I'm sharing about this project with a link back to your post today on my site.

Hi Cindy! Just stopping by to let you know that I've gathered some no-sew felt project in a post: http://best-toys-for-toddler.blogspot.com/2011/05/homemade-toys-for-toddlers-felt-board_25.html and included this one. Hopefully they will help parents have more fun and meaningful time with their toddlers :)
