We made it to the beach and the kids have been having a great time discovering sea life and treasures!
Emily has entertained herself for hours digging up Mole Crabs
and Aiden has discovered how fun it is to chase crabs into their holes.
We have gotten up early to walk on the beach and the kids have found LOTS of treasures. 
Some of our favorites include a mermaid’s purse, which is actually a skate egg case,
a jaw bone
and lots of beautiful shells and rocks.
The kids have also spent lots of time just playing in the water.

Oh what fun at the beach! We love the beach too, and all the little treasures we can find, though our waters are way too cold to get into. In fact our beaches are too cold for swim suits!

ReplyDeleteOf course you have to visit the beach after doing a beach theme! :) I love the treasures they found! We live a few minutes from a fresh water lake and dont find things nearly as cool as you would in the ocean. So enjoy those cool finds!
ReplyDeleteI saw you joined Totally Tots!! Can't wait to see all that you will be sharing with us!!! We are leaving one sunny beach, island and trading it for another as we will be moving to Sneads Ferry, NC from Okinawa Japan, so thankful to still be close to the ocean, lol!!!!
