Aiden is always excited when I let him play a game on the computer so I knew Time 4 Learning was going to be a hit with him.
What is Time 4 Learning?
Time 4 Learning is an online curriculum for PreK – 8th grade. It can be used as a primary curriculum or as a supplemental curriculum. The program covers language arts, math, science and social studies. The activities for PreK are designed for pre-readers. The only skills required by the child are that they be able to use a computer mouse and understand and follow simple auditory directions.
The PreK curriculum provides two different levels and covers over 40 different themes.
Aiden worked on level one which included the following themes: alphabet, colors, shapes, rhyme time, numbers, weather, on the farm, food, at the zoo, feelings, vehicles, tools, on the playground, sports, human body, space, fruits, the human face, and in the garden. As you can see there was plenty of options to keep him busy!
My Thoughts
Aiden enjoyed the program. He was having fun and learning at the same time. He asked to play “his computer game” several times a week, although he only played it for short periods of time ~ maybe 5 minutes.
Even though Aiden had fun using the program it is not something I would purchase as our main curriculum. Would I purchase it to supplement our curriculum? Probably not. Aiden is such an active little boy, with a short attention span, that I can’t image, and don’t want him, sitting in front of the computer for an extended period of time. It is a great program ~ just not for my very busy, hands on preschooler.

Your review is short...but good...lots packed in there! Have a wonderfully blessed day!
I had the trial membership for my 5 yr old and was not impressed. To spend the $ each month when she would not be using it daily just doesn't make sense to me.
Instead, I joined ClickNkids. There is a promo (I am not affiliated in any way) if you type in SAVINGS it is 40% off. Its a lifetime membership and you can use it for more than one child.
My daughter LOVES it!
