Yeah, no school this week ~ except for the occasional Tot School activities that Aiden asked to do. Whenever we take a “break” we end up being extremely busy. Neighbors kids were in and out of the house all week and we were busy doing Easter activities and crafts.
We made a homemade Marble Run out of paper towel and toilet paper tubes. Instead of marbles we used chocolate eggs.
Emily had lots if fun doing Jolanthe’s Building A Bunny Printable. She kept rolling a 6 so she could hop around the house like a bunny.
We pulled out our Resurrection Eggs this week,
made Resurrection Rolls
and dyed Easter eggs.
We read Rechenka’s Eggs
and decorated Ukrainian inspired eggs. Emily’s egg
Aiden’s egg,
and Mommy’s egg. I think I love the craft projects more than the kids do!
Emily has become interested in learning to sew. Guess I’m going to be learning along with her! The girls are sewing buttons on felt pieces (bookmarks) and Aiden is “sewing” a puppet.
That was our week! I hope everyone had a great week and HAPPY EASTER!

Looks like a good week for everyone. It's funny when you are taking a break, you manage to get busier!
I've seen the recipe for Resurrection rolls...somewhere...not sure if we will get to them this year. We are going to try to do resurrection cookies tonight. What a great week you had. Love the sewing!
Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday!
Almost forgot to mention I have a gift for you over at my blog. I think it is a great cause but it is time sensitive. Hope you get a chance to stop over.
